このビデオは昨年現代ギターから出版された、キケ・シネシさんの作品集からの一曲です。キケさんが来日した時池袋に宿泊し、その時に閃いたのがこの曲です。メロディーは 「I-Ke-Bu-Ku-Ro」という発音が元になっていて、そのリズムで遊び ながら和声付けし、中間部では少し発展していきます。池袋は、湖 や池があった地域で、中心付近には「池のフクロウ(いけふくろう)」 と呼ばれる像があると何かで読んで、そこからタイトルを付け たそうです。 これから少しづつその本から曲のビデオをアップします。
Last year the Japanese company “Gendai Guitar” published a new book dedicated to Quique Sinesi`s solo works for guitar. (8 pieces). This new video is one of the series that will contain all the pieces of this book.
When Quique came to Japan, he stayed in “Ikebukuro”(a part of Tokyo). The pronunciation of this place”I-Ke-Bu-Ku-Ro” inspired him to build the melody.
About the name of this place, there is a small statue of an owl located near the center of the city called Ikefukurō-zō, meaning pond owl statue. From this Quique decided the title of this piece. “The pound and the Owl”
